Kiteboarding

Kiteboarding started to take shape around 1996/1997 and has made a big progression since. From the first two line inflatable kites to the current collection of 2-line, 4-line and bridled kites. From C-Shape to Bowkites. Development over the years has been strong and Peter Lynn has been part of it all. Peter Lynn was already kitesurfing way before the introduction of the inflatable kite, successfully going upwind and jumping with his revolutionary C-Quad… but that did not have a big impact in the early kitesurfing market. The inflatable did and being experts in kites, the Peter Lynn brand went its own way as it has always done; for instance with the successful ARC kite. That brought great victories and many great products that shook and took the world by storm.

For kiteboarding, the PeterLynn brand went is own way again! The Twinskins have been there from the beginning of the sport and have been renowned for their controllable qualities. Nothing handles gusts as well as a Twinskin. The Charger is the only kite on the market that ‘auto zenith’s’ to give the rider the reassurance he needs to be in control more than with any other kite on the market. The Twinskins have grown a passionate following. Not the huge mainstream audience the tube kite has received, but still a big following of open-minded connoisseurs that jumps, loops and races it for what it’s worth and that’s a whole lot! Go check it out!

    • Hi,
      Thanks for posting.
Out of the kites you mention the Vortex is the only kitesurfing kite (with depower), and a perfect kite to learn kiteboarding with.
The Vortex is out of 2006/07, the (original) Pepper 2005/06 and the (original) Viper 2006/07
