Compact sticks

Peter Lynn has created a long history of different Twinskins, a lot of them still flying today.

These type of kites use (collapsible) sticks to maintain their shape, and sometimes these sticks need to be replaced. At Peter Lynn we have all sizes for current kites on stock. For all past kites here is a list with all the different lengths used.

Fitting new compact sticks in older model kites

If you wish to use the new compact sticks in your Bomba, Guerilla II, Phantom or Venom, you can do so by purchasing a slightly longer length and cutting them down. Take off the rubber endcap on one side of the stick, pull out the plastic cap that holds the bungee cord by undoing the knot and cut down the stick using a small hacksaw or tube cutting tool. Place the bungee and caps back on. For venom kites – remove the hard endcap in the kite before placing the new compact sticks.
