Time to play!
The Vibe II is the perfect entry level kite for all ages. The Vibe II is fun and easy to fly, but challenging enough as the Vibe II flies fast and the power can build up in stronger winds. Like every Peter Lynn kite, the Vibe II has been designed to fly well throughout the whole wind window in any kind of wind conditions. This will keep the kite challenging to fly.
The Vibe II comes in 5 different sizes, giving everyone the option to fly a kite that suits their skills and weight. The Vibe II flies easy in light winds and is very stable, allowing any kite flyer at any level to feel confident to fly it. The Vibe II is difficult to over-steer, even the smaller sizes Vibe II stay in shape when pulling one handle too much.

Hi,
I have a 2.3m Vibe 11. Please would you tell me what the recommended line length and strength (Kg) should be.
Regards,
Mark
Standard lines that come with the Vibe 2.3 are 20m and 100Kg, for stronger winds you might want to use stronger, say 170Kg lines.
Which vibe 2 size would you recommend for a 7 year old for up to 15mph wind speed? Also how does the safety release work on the optional bar control?
VibeII 1.3 or 1.6 and start in light winds because even the small sizes generate some power in 15Mph. The safety release features a leash which connects one of the two lines to the wrist, so when you release the bar the kite flags out on the one line.
Just purchased a 2.6 and love it. Funest foil we own. Any chance for larger 2 liner? For us “motionless flyers”. Mayby a 3.0, 3.5 Thanks for the awsome kite.
Hi,
I own a Vibe II 1,6. Unfortunately, one line is about 30 cm longer than the other. What shall be done?
Greetings from Berlin (Germany),
Ulf Baier
Hi Ulf,
Unfortunately this sometimes happens and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Luckily this is not too difficult to solve.
on each line-end there’s a sleeved loop (sleeve is there to protect the line), if you take out the knots of the sleeve (of the longer line) you can slide the sleeve back (shortening the line) and put the knots back.
A bit difficult to explain in text but I hope this helps, otherwise you can always check with your local kiteshop, they’ll know how to do this as well.
What line can I buy for replace the line of the vibe 1.3?
Hi Daniel,
Any 50kg lineset will do, the standard lines are 18m long.
Hi there,
I would like to know if you have a local Kiteshop (or at least a retailer) here in Wellington where i can purchase Powerkites?
Hi Roderick,
Unfortunately no, the closest would be the Peter Lynn Kitefactory in Christchurch.
I just ordered my Vibe 2 and eagerly awaiting the arrival. I tried Google to get a hold of the pdf of the manual but no luck.. Can you please let me know where I can download it? Thanks.
Hi, thanks for your post.
We are working on making the manuals available for download on the website.
In the meantime we have sent you the requested manual through email.
Fly safe!
