Hello,
I would like to use the Viper S as a kayak engine. I mean something like buggy ride, but on the water.
Is the 40D Mirai fabric water proof or water repellent?
thank you
Bye
Ettore
Hi Ettore,
Thank you for your question.
Even though Mirai is waterproof upto a point, the Viper S itself isn’t.
The Viper S is an open cell so if you happen to crash it in the water it will fill up quickly making it impossible to relaunch.
Hello everybody!
I would like to use my Viper S 3,9 with a control bar. Which one is suited best for this size? The 4-line powerkite bar or the 4-line powerkite bar classic?
Thank you
Best, Patrick
Hi Patrick,
Thanks for posting your question.
For the 3.9 Viper I’d say get the ‘normal’ powerkite bar, with this you can set the angle of attack of the kite giving you a somewhat bigger windrange, the classic bar works best on big kites as this uses the brakelines to steer.
Good winds.
Can i use the Peter Lynn Viper S for recreational use as well as buggying and landboarding?
Hi Florian, thank you for your post.
Yes, the Viper S can easily be used for static flying, the Viper S is intended as buggy trainer and therefore doesn’t have a lot of lift but it is very controllable and easy to fly.
