Peter Lynn offers you a variety of spreader bars suitable for all forms of traction kiting. Whether you fly your kite on handles or on a bar here you will find a spreader bar that meets your demands. If you fly your kite on a bar we recommend the standard spreader or the spinning spreader which is similar to any other spreader bar but with the added advantage of being freely/fully spin-able. If you fly your kite on handles we highly recommend using a wheel spreader such as the Challenger, bullet or prodigy wheel spreader.
Wheel spreaders are spreader bars fitted with a pulley type wheel on the end where you can easily hook your harness line into/onto. Apart from steering your kite by pulling the bottom ends of the handles the kite can also be steered by pulling the complete handles, similar to two line kite flying. Above this the wheel pulleys lets your harness line run smoothly from side to side greatly reducing wear on the line.
