Kiteboard Open 2011 – the best ever?

Kiteboard Open is the biggest beachlifestyle event in the Netherlands and one of the bigger events in Europe. Peter Lynn was the kitesponsor of the 2011 event and it was a great experience for all. The organisation calls the 2011 event, the best event ever and we are proud we could support it and play a role in this success!

Peter Lynn had a nice presence on the kitegear exposition that is part of Kiteboard Open, or in short KBO. Besides Chargers for demo’s and testing, there were some of the highly anticipated Tubekite prototypes to take a sneak peek at. Many were interested in the latest development of the new 2012 Twinskin and Tubekite line-up and although we can’t tell that much at this point, what could be told made visitors happy and looking forward to the new kites.

Cedrid vanderschrik at Kiteboard Open

Besides the expo, our international Teamriders Cedric vanderschrik and Nick Stimpel joined our national Teamriders Rudolf de Roo and John Penders amongst others to give a great performance with the Chargers, both on water and land! That’s how we roll! It was great to see the Chargers rock amongst a sea full of tubes.

Some visitors became firsttime kiteflyers, by getting some kite lessons and some of our valued shopkeepers came by for a chat and a drink. Thanks to all for joining us here!

Last but not least, Peter Lynn was the main sponsor of the Beachparty, renaming that to the PeterLynn Beachparty for this year. And what a party it was! From cool rockbands to deep techno DJ’s, people partying till the break of dawn, it was simply awesome! Happy faces and good times at Kiteboard Open. Peter Lynn was involved for the first time, but we are already looking forward to 2012!
