Initiate, a kiting movie

INITIATE is the story of 5 people, wishing to organize the most adventurous kite-powerkite trip ever.

Guilhem on how this movie came to be:

We began working on this idea of doing an adventure movie in October 2010. We talked about the idea with Seb, Romain and Fred and everybody was quite excited and willing to give their best.We chose Fuerteventura because we found it was fitting perfectly with our project. This isle is all about dust and volcanic stones: That’s the way we like it! Landscapes and beaches are just awesome and there’s a big visual contrast between black rocks and white sand, this place really looks like another dimension.

This video is the main pillar of the large contribution from the Peter Lynn team to the world of kiting. You’ve got to consider this experience like an initiation to enter one of the best powerkite teams on earth. Today, we’re inviting you to discover our lives, our best moments and of course see what we do best: riding hard!

We believe to have reached a “never made before” level in the powerkiting discipline. Our riders are some of the best in the world. But more than that, we manage to ride in a new way, on every place we laid eyes on. We have sailed in magnificent light blue water, we’ve put our wheels down  on a powerful Volcano….I guess we brought powerkite to a place it has never been before!

Every person in the team had a an awesome time, and gave their best during the trip, we hope you will all enjoy this movie and that your next move will be to get on your buggy or on your board and enjoy the ride just like we do! With Passion!
