German KLB-Tour rocks the Golf course

From 27.5-29.05.2011 the German KLB-Tour stopped for the 2^nd heat on the famous location in Tating nearby St. Peter Ording. The perfect green of the golf course and heavy winds received the riders. The Peter Lynn Team was represented with three riders, Romain Féaux, Nick Stimpel and Jeroen Pigmans who started at the 1^st time in the German series.

The Golf course team created a really great chilloutzone with fatboys. At Saturday the competition started at first with two races. The course went over the complete area and the knolls and ditches with muddy water gave the races the character of a boarder cross. Nick had a hard battle but he earned the 1^st and the 2^nd place in the two races. Jeroen learned the hard way and flew in the muddy water like many other riders at this weekend.

Then the freestyle competition was beginning. Jeroen was surprised about the high competitiveness of the other riders and loose both heats, the same like Nick. Only Romain was able to win two heats in the looser table and earned the 7^th place in the all over result. The aftershow party in Egans Pub was great. The Soundpredatorz had to play their set list round and around since the morning came…

At Sunday the last three races were started and Nick had to battle hard for his ranking with Pascal Lohmann who won two races. The last race was a long distance race over a half hour and Pascal leaded all the time with in sight winning the weekend ranking. Nick was always directly behind of him and at the last beating course he caught Pascal and won the race with the little margin of two meters.

This race also decided the weekend result in favour of Nick. Good race Nick!

All in all this was one of the best KLB- events ever, the organisation, the mood and the spirit at the golf course was awesome. More pictures you find on the official German KLB Championship website www.kitelandboarding.eu
