Awake and alive, riding for a cure.

Little over 2 months ago Teamrider Todd Stevick was diagnosed with cancer, needless to say this was a shock.

But Todd refuses to let it take over his life and at Peter Lynn we are proud to have this fighter on the team, and we wish him and his family the strength to get through.

This is his story.

March 19th 2011 the day that tipped my world upside down. What can you say when you’re admitted into the hospital in critical condition and fighting for your life. I say that I want to live! The thought of Cancer had always been resting in the back of my mind after losing both parents to the disease however never could have believed that it would happen to me. When I fly now, I fly for a cause. One reason is that I simply refuse to give in, fight the fight. No dirt nap in this guys future.

Right now I will fight for others as well, people not strong enough to fight nor in any condition to do so. A foundation will be created soon and I can promise you that I’m in it to win it. My dearest friends have done so much for me, it’s simply incredible. How can I let them down…? I WILL live. Oh and the video was put together to honor my Mother and Father that I miss dearly. In the video that day. I flew a brand spanking new (first time opened) 18m Phantom that was raided from Peter Lynn’s closet, I love that kite.

Todd Stevick.

Peter Lynn teamrider.
